HYBRID SOLUTIONS UTILIZING SMALL WIND TURBINES & SOLAR PV
The integration of our wind technologies, coupled with solar PV and energy storage create truly decentralized systems. We have hundreds of installations in remote locations where harmful and expensive diesel generators were the primary source of energy. Our bespoke and innovative bad-grid, off-grid and micro-grid systems have the ability to displace diesel and produce sustainable renewable energy, and have been used to power homes communities, transport systems and businesses across the globe.
TELECOMS
Over 1.5 million telecom stations are powered solely by expensive and polluting diesel fuel, using inefficient diesel generators. The consumption of diesel is vast, not only in the operation of a telecom system, but in the delivery of the fuel itself to the sites. It is estimated the telecoms industry spends over $19 billion per year on diesel. Harnessing the natural resources available (wind and solar radiation) allows telecom mast operators to lower their operational costs for bad and off-grid sites, while reducing their overall carbon footprint and supply logistics.
Huijue Energy has installed hundreds of renewable systems at telecoms stations including on/bad/off-grid sites, utilising bespoke combinations of its propriety small wind turbines, solar PV panels and battery storage. Diesel generators can be added, to be used only as last resorts or in emergencies, for a complete fail-safe system.
REMOTE LOCATIONS
Remote locations such as islands or inland sites which aren’t connected to the grid are areas where many communities are reliant on expensive, imported diesel for electricity. Not only is this hugely expensive and polluting but the supply of power can be intermittent and unreliable. Communities can be restricted to using appliances at only certain times of the day or be subject to frequent, unexpected blackouts. Hybrid renewable designs are the perfect solution in these cases and can generate a consistent power supply for communities and businesses. Having access to reliable energy not only benefits the wellbeing of residents, its benefits the prosperity of the region, businesses can develop further or start-up completely with the added security of energy supply.
INDUSTRIAL
Industrial operations require intensive power supply’s which can be limited by their grid connection size or the consistency of supply. Industrial operations typically have large, flat roofed warehouses/factories where utilising roof-mounted solar PV is an efficient utilization of space. Coupled with Ryse Energy small wind turbines, these hybrid systems can reduce the dependency on the grid, only taking power when no renewable energy is available. For sites with available space nearby, ground-mounted solar PV can be employed, simplifying installation and maintenance. Battery storage can be included to smooth out the renewable energy supply and only take from the grid in rare circumstances. This allows companies to reduce or off-set their carbon footprint during their manufacturing process.
